Summary: Great Summer Fun
Comment: My 12 year old son and I had a great time making these airplanes. The book is very easy to follow and very well constructed. We started out folding the planes with regular printer paper before using the decorated paper included with the book. This allowed us to make sure the folds were done right. We spent many afternoons throwing these planes outdoors until my arm was sore. The book also showed the slight tweeks and modifcations that can help to fine tune paper airplanes for optimum flight or stunts. Great how to book.

Comment: Clear directions, great illustrations, plenty of tips to tweak your paper plane to ensure lots of flying fun, and good use of aviation vocabulary! This book was purchased for a 5-year old and although technically, the creation of these planes are a bit too challenging for him on his own, he was completed enthralled watching others create his next aviation wonder. The inclusion of brightly colored paper with an assortment of designs was also a clever marketing idea. I also liked the fact that this book has a spiral binding that allows the user to open any page in the book and have it remain open and flat without a fight. Really great instructional book that has been offering hours of fun.

Summary: Fabulous fun at any age
Comment: We bought this book at the science center and it was used (or abused) to the point that I just had to buy another one. My oldest has most of the folding techniques memorized, but my younger son still needs some training. Excellent gift!!
