Comment: The story is great and a favorite of mine and the children I teach, however I don't understand why amazon would send out a book that is 2" x 2" without listing this as the size of the book. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to try to read that size book to any child, much less a group of children.

Comment: Although the contents & illustrations of the book were enjoyed by my granddaughter, you needed a magnifying glass to read the darned thing! The book is only about three inches square and that is NOT in the product description. I probably should have suspected something because of the low cost of the book. Again, when I could finally find my reading glasses to read it, the contents were quite enjoyable!

Summary: This is a must have for parents and teachers to read to children.
Comment: I loved this book and so did my youngest grand daughter. She had it memorized by the age of three... word for word and using all the expression of a professional. She charmed every one she read it too. She is now 15 and when I ask her for her favorite all time childrens books...she always says Stephanie's Ponytail. I am now purchasing it for my youngest and I am hoping she enjoys every bit as much as she did.

Comment: This book literally fits into a jacket pocket and is great instant entertainment when we are on the go and find ourselves: waiting in line, driving anywhere, sitting quietly in church, traveling on the airplane, eating school lunch, quiet time before bed . . . I'm sure there are more! Plus the story is classic Munsch, with a strong female character leading through hilarious antics with hair style and peer approval - or disapproval! Fabulous illustrations.
