Summary: Fun and Interactive
Comment: Mo Willems never fails with his imagination and interactive stories! He is a Caldecott winner and a writer for Sesame Street!

Summary: I Love the Pigeon!
Comment: The pigeon books are my favorite books of all time! Everybody in my house - no matter the age - is in love with Pigeon. He is ridiculously hilarious. The artwork is very simple and the dialogue is uncomplicated making it the perfect story to share with preschoolers. I give it 10 stars! I can't wait to see what the pigeon gets into next.

Summary: Cute- but not his best work
Comment: While we have enjoyed all of the other Pigeon books, this one was a bit lacking in the laughs department. It's a good one to read before buying to make sure it's up to snuff with your little ones. After reviewing it in the book store with my kids, they didn't want it (in contrast to begging to take home the others in the series).

Summary: 2 year old loves it.
Comment: The storyline is really simple, but my daughter who is 2 1/2 loves this book and she asks to read this book almost every night. I think because the Pigeon has the mentality of a toddler that the character really appeals to children that age.

Summary: Thank goodness for libraries
Comment: I didn't spend a whole lot of time researching this book, but when my son enjoyed Knuffle Bunny I thought I'd check out the authors other books. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I'm going to second what Bea said. There is nothing to recommend - the artwork is just BLAH, the story is not funny, clever, witty, or creative. My almost 4 year old thought it was boring and when asked if he wanted to read either of these pigeon books he said NO. 'Nuff said.
