Summary: Fabulous Reading
Comment: I bought this for my 6 year old son. He can read most words but the font and many of the words are too hard for him. I knew that though when I bought it. He loves reading the parts he can and he sits for hours just looking at the pictures and using his imagination. I look forward to him enjoying this book for many years. It is always something new and fun when he picks it up.

Comment: HOW can I possibly rate this item???? AMAZON HAS NOT SHIPPED IT YET! It was ordered like a MONTH ago, but as of yet, has NOT EVEN BEEN SHIPPED. So asking me to rate it is funny. I happen to know this item very well even though I haven't received it yet, that is why the 5*'s. However, it STILL SITS SOMEWHERE AT AMAZON. They have no plans to ship it until the 20th of this month. I don't understand it...

Summary: Fantastic Field Guide
Comment: My boys, ages 9 and 6 have enjoyed reading the Spiderwick Chronicles, but when I gave them the Field Guide, they were over the moon. Holly Black and Tony DeTerlizzi bring the characters and fantasy come to life. My boys actually reference this guide while going on nature walks, enjoying imaginary trolls and faeries! If your child likes the series or the movie, this is a great addition!
