Comment: This is a good book for math! My daughter is in 4th grade and it's right up her alley. Gives her enough review and repetition to absorb the material.

Summary: Very comprehensive 2nd grade math book
Comment: Unlike so many other 2nd grade math supplements, this one truly delivered at 200 pages. I found the math worksheets mirrored my daughters homework assignments pretty accurately.
At the front of the book is a set of gold star stickers that parents can award both on the completed page and on a chart in the front of the book. Also, there is a certificate at the back of the book that you can fill out once your child completes this book.
The quality of the book is very high. It has a thick glossy cover and slick pages inside (which aren't too easy to erase on- my only complaint).
If your child is especially gifted in math this will not be a good choice unless you are moving up a grade level.
I recommend this book for parents to help their children at home who are struggling to understand 2nd grade math without the frustration of being overly challenged. Your child can gain a lot of confidence by completing this on grade-level book without sacrificing any key 2nd grade math concepts.
Boys may find Marvel Heroes: Second Grade (Math Made Easy) to be more engaging.

Comment: I purchased the Math / English Made Easy grade 3 books for my son last year, and followed up with the Grade 4 books this year.
These are the things that you will like:
1/ excellent presentation (a DK forte),
2/ the books appeal to your kid (golden star stickers!, growing complexity of the subject matter, and answers at the back of the book for feedback),
3/ very easy to assign work - 2 pages a day, and you're done!
Highly reccomended.

The book itself was a good review for my child. I was not impressed with the shipping, it was lost in the shipping process, even tough I had ordered 4 other items at the same time and they all arrived. Frustrating when you want the book for a summer review and then you have to wait half the summer for it to arrive.

Comment: My son needed to review 4th grade before entering 5th. This has been a great workbook. He likes it! It gives enough practice problems without "beating him over the head with it." Also, even though he is 11, he likes the gold star stickers that are included.
