Comment: My 2 1/2 year old still loves this book. We got this book for her just before the birth of our second daughter in Jan, 2009. It really makes her beam with pride to think of herself as a big sister. Maybe it is just her, or the fact that we focused on her as well as the new baby and tried to involve her in the care of the baby, but she has always been gentle with her little sister. At first glance the bottle feeding can be misinterpreted to being biased against breastfeeding moms, but I pumped so that my husband and daughter could help with the feeds. I think it is beneficial to everyone while breastfeeding to have one feed a day be from dad or sister. It gives me time to cook dinner or do something else like shower:-). If you are breastfeeding do not dismiss this book just because of that section, you will miss out on a gem of a book.
