Summary: Not Typical Cutesy/Ugly
Comment: This is sophisticated and cool! Just how I want my baby to grow up. The other stuff can be so ugly. I think I used to have a journal or something that had similar style/images and look and loved it as a kid. My baby is not even here yet (13 weeks to go!) but I've seen enough hideous decor to know that they must think you get tacky and country when you get knocked up! I want NO cartoon characters for my daughter. (Watch she'll become obsessed with Disney Princesses just to spite me). But at least this thing is going to be nice for years to come to look back & remember. Even though it's blue, I think it's fine for girls, too, as the inside isn't all blue at all. Gorgeous!

Summary: A Treasure!
Comment: I purchased this about a week after my son was born and was faithful in filling it out throughout his first year. It is now one of my most treasured possessions! Even on my most tired or busy days as a new mother, I could find a moment to write one line or phrase in that day's box on this calendar. Looking back over the year, even the most mundane notations in all those little boxes add up to a beautiful picture of his first year of life. This is one of my favorite gifts to give for baby showers!

Summary: Very easy to use and keep up with
Comment: I really like the cute style of this calendar. I do wish there were more stickers and more space to write in the individual days, but there is adequate space to record memories above the calendar area. A couple of the categories don't really make sense for newborns..such as...Fav. Games/Toys. So that was annoying because I felt like it was wasted space.
But being a mom of three, it is nice to feel I can keep track of this special time without taking too much of mine.

Summary: Easier than a baby book
Comment: I bought this same calendar for my older daughter who is now 2 and just bought another one for my newborn. It's a good way to make sure you record those important moments, when you haven't got the time to fill out a baby book. I like that each month has a section where you can fill in what they have been doing that month. I also like the stickers you can use for all the "firsts". My only complaint is that the stickers take up almost the whole square, so if you use a sticker, there isn't much room to write anything else down for that day. Great gift also. I like that it is gender neutral.

Comment: I wanted to create a record of my baby's first year, but wasn't into the whole baby book thing. This is a great way to record all of the fun accomplishments your baby makes in the first year. There is just enough room to write that it's fun, but not too much that it's overwhelming. I love it. We hung ours in the kitchen so we can write on it whenever it's convenient.
