Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life--dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge--he follows.
After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues--and they're for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew.
Printz medalist John Green returns with the brilliant wit and searing emotional honesty that have inspired a new generation of readers.
Enigmatic Margo is dramatically captured in a unique dual-cover treatment.

Summary: My Favorite John Green Book
Comment: Having the privilege of a night like the first part of this book, It really brought back some childhood memories. Hot southern nights, minivans, and pranks. Loved it.

Summary: Entertaining read, paper towns not too flimsy
Comment: I found this to be an entertaining read.
I think a little bit of Margo (a main character) can be found in anyone. Everyone has the need to find themselves.
This is a quest for a seach for herself, although it seems as though people are searching for her.
Although an entertaining read, this book is actually quite deep.
I found myself wanting them to find her, and I don't think that was the point. A bit of mystery, a bit of soul searching, a bit of action, all wound up in one. I don't want to be a spoiler, so I won't go into the storyline too much. But, overall, a great book to read over the weekend to take your mind away.

Summary: His Best Yet.
Comment: John Green is such a talented writer. He is humourous but oh so deep. I am so moved whenever I finish one of his books. And I never want to put them down. Amazing book. DFTBA.

Summary: So Fun! Props to John Green
Comment: John Green never fails to please. Paper Towns has an interesting story line that young (but not too young!) readers can easily relate to. He kept me turning pages throughout the whole book-- I couldn't put it down! I especially loved the dialogue; the characters spoke the way high school students really would. The writing quality wasn't that of an amateur, but it wasn't too difficult to decipher. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone!

Summary: A fleeting addiction
Comment: I read the first half of the book in one sitting, unable to stop. Margo Roth Speigelman takes neighbor Quentin on the ride of his life, and I didn't want the night to end any more than Quentin did. Alas, the night does end, and then the real mystery supposedly begins. Without Margo, however, the book loses its intensity, and I kept reading out of mild, uninvested curiosity (the way one reads a People magazine to find out the latest about the celebritysphere). Just like Quentin, I have no regrets about seeing the story to the end because the ride with Margo at the beginning was so much fun, but I can't say there wasn't disappointment along the back side. I suppose that my review here is a back-handed tribute to Green's ability to create such a charismatic and mesmerizing character. I know, I know, the point is that she couldn't last . . . but where's the fun in that?
