January 1916:Henry Yewbeam and his younger brother, James, have been sent to stay with their cousins at the Bloor's Academy. It is one of the coldest days of the year, and all Henry wants to do is hide from his mean cousins and play marbles. He finds a nice, long hall and begins to roll his marbles. Summary: love this series
Comment: I bought this series for my nephew, I read before I gave it to him, to make sure it was OK. I ended up drawn into the books so much that I purchased another set of this series for myself. I would recommend this series to anyone.

Summary: Charlie Bone and the Time Twister
Comment: The book was ok. There was a little suspense and excitement. But, things keep coming that just come from nowhere. Such as the girl becoming a bird and the secret tunnel just happening to be there when they need it. No one had mentioned it before. It seems to be a poor knockoff for Harry Potter. I really don't know how they got published. I've read two now and will probably not read any more.

Comment: Sort of a younger, poor mans Harry Potter, the second Charlie Bone book seemed a bit steadier on it's legs despite some character development that defies sense. Charlie's Grandma and Aunts seem so terribly mean, without any real explanation except to create a bit of conflict, and perhaps later books will reveal why this is.
But for example, when one of the characters is almost killed by them in the book, the others brush it off as if it was a minor inconvenience!?! Still there's plenty to like about this series, especially in the young hero Charlie, and for young people interested in fantasy, but still too young for Harry, this might just be the ticket.

Comment: Do you want to read a good book? Read Charlie Bone and the Time Twister you won't want to put it down, its adventurist and a page turner.
This book is called Charlie Bone and the Time Twister. The author of this great book is Jenny Nimmo. The genre of this story is fiction. Also the book is 402 pages long.
My favorite part in this book is when Asa [one of the bad guys] goes into the pet's café. [Which you have to have a pet to go in.] Then when he gets into the pet's café. He gets chased by lots of dogs and gets injured very badly.
In the beginning a boy named Henry Get's teleported into a different time while playing marbles by a marble called a time twister. One day while Charlie Bone roamed the corridors of Bloor's academy, a kid comes out of nowhere. Then Charlie discovers Henry got brought to the future by the time twister and hides him in cook's secret room. Finally the Bloor's find Henry and hides him from Charlie and his friends. To find out what happens next you'll have to read the book, but before you read this book read Midnight for Charlie Bone other books like this book are Charlie bone series, Artemis fowl series and the Harry Potter series. The ages this book is for is 8 - 15. I would recommend this book for kids who like fantasy, adventure and excitement on every page.
