Summary: Improvement over "Marked", but still pretty bad
Comment: I thought that "Betrayed" was a small improvement over "Marked".
I found myself rolling my eyes much less as I read the second book. However, it's still really poorly written. I think if you made it through the first book and found even the slightest bit of satisfaction, it might be worth reading book two. Entertainment is entertainment, even if it's awful.

Comment: The first book was good but this one was great because you felt tons of different emotions ...and change your view on a variety of different characters. I read the book in 2 days ...and had a hard tiem putting it down. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens.

Summary: Fascinating Fast-Paced Vampire Book (Book 2 In Series)
Comment: An important notice from the reviewer: Many times people read reviews or the back of the book to see what its all about. However, thats why so many complain that everything coming up in the series is obvious. The whole plot is written on the back cover, and I hate when publishers do that, because then the reader knows everything so the book may loose their interest, or oftentimes the plot is slightly different from what the book says it is so people are 'disappointed'. Don't read any reviews or back covers, just read this review, as I try not to have spoilers that ruin the book for you other then crucial info you need to know to see if it is your type of book.

Overall, a better-then-average fast-paced vampire book that is the 2nd sequal to the series 'House of Night'.
