Summary: Very difficult for little hands
Comment: I ordered this for my eight-year-old son. He loves, and is very proficient with, the more complicated Lego and KNex sets, so I thought this would be another building toy option. I have no idea why this is labeled for children as young as 5. It is very difficult to follow the schematic diagrams, even for a child experienced with these types of directions. I had to help him build the objects, partly because when you got one set of nuts and bolts tightened, ones on the other side were becoming loose. The motor is a cool idea, but it really exacerbates the problem of loosening connections. Our robot literally ran itself apart within five minutes. I can tell this won't be a toy he returns to again and again. It's just too frustrating.
