Summary: not worth the money
Comment: Bought this for Christmas for my 3 year old last year....he didn't like it from the start, and that is from a child who likes anything that drives. His 5 year old brother played with it once, and wasn't thrilled either....spend your money on something else.

Summary: Safety Issues: Choking
Comment: My 4-yr old nephew received this toy as a birthday present. While running around playing with it, the heavy helmet slipped off his head and the neck strap proceeded to severely choke him. This product needs to be re-evaluated for safety to be age-appropriate (my nephew is a normal-sized 4-yr old). Until that happens, I would recommend Playskool issue a security alert to parents or potentially recall Helmet Hero until the issue has been resolved.

Summary: He loves it buts it's not really made well
Comment: My son is 2 and loves it. The inside of the helmet has adjustable straps for the top of the head are like a work helmet but even adjusting doesnt help any. It seems too small to fit right on my 2 year old and is marked for 3+. It is really cool. The lights and sounds. Since it doesnt fit his head it slides off and even the chin strap are really coming out of the wrong place and aren't adjustable. I really don't think this thing would fit any kids head and stay on. Yes it says 3 and my son is 2 but he is just as big as a 3 yr old.

Comment: I purchased this as a Christmas present for my 3yr. old Son thinking he would love it and although he did play w/ it Christmas Day, he hasn't really played w/ it since. He loves to pretend drive and loves to pretend dress up but I guess this just didn't do it for him. I like it and it works properly but he can take it or leave it. But you know how kids are, his interest may be renewed 3 mos. down the line so we'll hang onto it. Right now it sits in a corner :-).

Summary: My 2 year old loved this set!
Comment: We purchased this Adventure Squad Racer set for our 2 year old son for Christmas. The helmet was a little difficult to adjust to get a good fit. It took many tries before we found a comfortable fit. (the size range is quite large. It fit him, my 4 year old and I must admit, even me!) We almost lost his attention, but when we finally placed it on his head and turned it on, he took off! He raced though the house pushing buttons and swerving around corners it could have been a commercial! There are a few buttons that give you different comments and says "racing lingo" but I don't think he understands or cares what they are saying. He just runs and "drives" with a big smile! We have had a few older friends (3-5) visit and it's one of the first things to be picked up and taken for a test drive! I would certainly recommend this item.
