The World's most tallest building " World Trade Center " 1966 - 1977

The architect yamasaki was selected to be responsible to the World Trade Center project, His decision on a two-tower development, containing the million square feet office space, is not in the sparseness of materials used but in the advancement of technology. The twin towers with 110 floors rising 1,353 feet becomes the world's tallest building, taking over from the Empire State Building, and then surpassed by the Sears Tower. Unfortunatelly, the World Trade Center disaster appears on Tuesday, September 11th, 2001. At 8:45am New York time, the hi-jacked 767 commercial jet airplane hit the north tower of World Trade Center. A similar jet hit the south tower 18 minutes later. The south tower was the first to suffer a complete structural collapse at 10:05 a,, 80 minutes after impact. The north tower collapse at 10:30 am.

Summary: Not a Puzzle
Comment: This was a neat view of the Trade center, but was not a puzzle at all. More like a cheap model. Made of very thin cardboard/paper. Very flimsey and tears easily. Worth buying for educational, but not for the enjoyment of assembling a puzzle.

Comment: I bought this for my husband who likes 3-d models and being from NY city wanted one of the twin towers, although this isnt a 3-d model its the next best thing. quick shipment too.
