Treat baby to some poppin’, droppin’ funtime with this air-powered activity set. Cute jungle animals and a ladybug entice little fingers to grasp and explore. Press down on the ladybug to start the action and keep this jungle moving and on the ball. Parts “magically” move to baby’s exotic adventure. The smiley-faced monkey pops out of the tree! As the air starts to flow, lively music plays and animal sounds seem to bring this activity set to “life”. Colored balls swirl around the “pool”. Little hands can reach in and pull them out, then drop them back in to watch them swirl around and around. Place a ball on top of the “volcano” to make it hover! Stackable palm tree, elephant and alligator pieces spin, twirl and “chomp” when placed on their separate ports, or stack them for a different perspective. It’s a jungle out there – and that’s what your baby will love so much about this air-powered play center. Activity set comes with monkey and palm tree snap-in piece, 3 balls, 3 stacking pieces and instructions.

Summary: Wish the spinners were a little tighter
Comment: This is a great toy that my little boy loves, but I wish the spinners were a fit better on the pedestals. He gets excited and tries to grab something and knocks them all over.

Summary: Doesn't Look Like Much... But My Son Loves it!
Comment: I'll admit when I got this toy as a gift for my son at the baby shower, I wasn't expecting much. It looks kinda boring... but I guess that's just an adults perspective, because my son LOVES THIS TOY! He has played with it since he was about 6 months old. He's now 15 months and is still entertained by it on occasion. Best of all, we haven't had to replace any batteries in this toy. I don't know how it continues to work, but it does. This was given to my son by a friend who works for the company that made the toy and it was ranked as one of their top toys in the kid testing that they do... that's why she gave it to him. I guess this is one toy that's not made to entertain adults, it's strictly for the babies!

Summary: Excellent! 8-month old, now 13 months and still loves it.
Comment: Someone gave this to us as a gift. My 8-month old loved it right away just watching the balls and things spin. He's gradually figured out how to stack the different figures on top of eachother to make them spin in different ways. Even older kids who visit (3 & 4 year old) love it.

Summary: 6+ months...great toy for learning
Comment: I bought this for my son's first Christmas. He was only 3 months old at the time, so I bought it as something that could be brought out later in the year. When he reached 6 months, I had to bring it out. He was beginning to sit up and I couldn't see any reason to keep it from him.
In the first 5 minutes he learned that the ladybug button would make the music start and the animals go crazy! He was fascinated. Not long after, he began grabbing the balls out and trying to grab the floating one. It was amazing to watch as he learned how to pop the floating ball out.
The movement on the animals and tree is great. I haven't had to change the batteries yet, which is amazing. The songs are catchy and you can't help but hum along.
This is always out at our house and is the first thing he crawls to in the morning. He is only 8 months old now and I can't imagine him not having it. When we go over to his grandma's house, we sometimes take it along. The 1 1/2 year old toddler loves it! Great toy for both fun and learning.

Summary: great for 5 months and 27 months+
Comment: We got the ball-tivity center for christmas this year, and both my daughters loved it instantly! My oldest, 20 months at the time instantly loved pushing the button, making the ball spin in the dish, and stacking the moving parts over and over. I was surprised at how entranced she was, and I could see her manual dexterity improve with practice. You'd think with just six parts and the base they'd get bored pretty quick, but I see this toy (or parts of it) getting used quite frequently. My second, 5 months at the time, loved watching the balls go and watching my oldest stack the parts. Not that I'm a connoisseur of musical children's toys, but this is the least offensive of the lot....and it's a pretty nice jaunty little tune. The action button (a red ladybug) makes different sounds every time, and for whatever reason I like the monkey one. I think my youngest managed to intentionally use the button around 6 or 7 months. Today my kids are 27 months and 11 months. Both still love it and we've never hidden it from them. Way to go Playskool! My oldest turns the elephant over, puts a ball in it and calls it ice cream - so cute! Our kids play with it pretty much every day, and the batteries have lasted about 4 months. That's pretty amazing for a fan. There is always enough air pressure to make all three stackers move, and blow the three balls around the dish (or two in the dish and one floating) - another mark of a good design.
