Comment: My 6 year old plays with this for hours. I love that all the pieces can be stored in the island and he can take it along to grandma's house... or actually clean up his toys. I am a fan of playmobile and the quality. My son likes the shelves for hiding treasure chests. Great imagination builder....

Summary: Playmobil Carry Along Island
Comment: Playmobil has a great thing in these play sets. They have some TINY little parts, but do pay attention to details, and my boys (4 & 7) simply LOVE these and will play with them for hours! We have several of the sets now, and they want more. They have had more fun with these sets than with any other play set we have ever found, and I am very happy.
This case is a bit tricky for my 4 year old to put together, so that is a bummer, but otherwise it is great!

Comment: My son got this for his 5th birthday last January and I've been very surprised at how much it gets played with. He and his 3 yr old brother will play with this and their pirate ship for a couple hours at a time, quite regularly. The pieces are very small, so it only gets played with when the baby is napping, but we like how all the pieces fit into the carrying case -- which closes very tightly and the little one cannot get it open. We are planning on purchasing more Playmobil pirate sets for Christmas this year, we are very happy with this purchase.

Summary: Arrrrggghhhhh! Love this toy!
Comment: My son is almost three and loves pirates. I wanted a pirate toy that wasn't too infantile, but not too complex. The recommended age is four and older, and for a good reason. There are plenty of small choking-hazard pieces. However, my son no longer puts toys in his mouth, so I decided to give it a try. He loves this toy (as does my husband); mostly he loves the small pieces. The treasure coins are too small. We have lost several pieces; I've heard them being vacuumed up. He also loves to take the pirates apart. It comes with so many different pieces: little guns, treasure chest, boat, earrings for the pirates, hats, hair, gun holsters, glow-in-the-dark skeleton, plants for the island, shooting cannon...there are almost too many to list. Personally, I think it is a really great deal for only $20 and it is a nicely made toy. I plan on buying more playmobil playsets in the future. I only wish I could replace the small treasure coins, they disappear too quickly.

Comment: This is a great addition to a pirate ship for a child that is into pirates. It is very durable, has lots of pieces to it, including 3 pirates and lockable treasure chest w/treasure. There is room for storage and is great for a take-along toy. My son plays with this every day. It is great for promoting imaginative play.
