Comment: My daughter loves this! She plays with it just about every day. The kitchen and bedroom can be linked together and there: you have an instant playhouse! Or set them side by side for a more open feel. The thing I really like about it is that it is very detailed in the design...it's even cuter in person! Very simple assembly. Durable materials (without a lot of plastic, which I personally really like!) The furniture is lightweight, little ones can move them around with ease. A winner in my book.

Comment: We purchased this for our daughters for Christmas- it took some patience to put together but it is very nice and durable. I would not have paid full price for this item but got it for a steal on Amazon, so I am happy with that. It's bulky so you have to have the space for it as it cannot be easily taken apart.

Comment: Before I start gushing about it, let me just stress READ MANUAL CAREFULLY. We spent an hour trying to fit the wrong cover over the wrong frame. The manual is actually quite simple so I guess it's our fault. Too hasty!
Once assembled, our daughter - a tiny 5 year old love, love, love it. She would spend hours playing inside.
And the great thing is it can also serve as a storage for toys. Or at least hide the mess if you have people over or you just want to be clutter free for a while.
We have had it for half a year and still no tear - altho I must say my girl isn't the rough kick-things type.
It's probably not suitable for younger kids say 2 years below. If you lean on the cottage wall, it will fall over. (A friend's daughter (2.5) did that)

Comment: We bought this for our 18 month old for Christmas and she loves it...not much hassle assembling and easy to stow away. For the money, this is the best playhouse out there, had to buy the other table set and Nursery to compliment all of the house too, but well worth the money!

Summary: Our girl's own little house - probably her #1 favorite toy ever
Comment: What's amazing about the Rose Petal Cottage is that, 2 years later, our little girl has not tired of it yet. Unlike a doll house this is HER little house inside our house.
The other amazing thing is that the house actually lasted for 2 years and it looks as good and as undamaged today as it did the day we assembled it. I can't think of any other toy of hers that survived for 2 years. When linked together, the 2 halves form her little corner of privacy and it can be in the middle of the living room. She and a friend can bring in two little princess chairs, close the the door and they can play inside for hours, watching TV through the window or making breakfast for their dollies or for themselves. The possibilities are endless and you don't really need the related accessories. The little stove that came with the house saw some play but it's mostly other toys of hers that she brings into the cottage.
One word about the initial assembly. It's not easy. Or at least it was 'mission impossible' for me. I needed help after I set up the frame. It was 'mission challenging' for my wife who correctly put the rest together. With my help, following her directions, of course.
I give the Rose Petal Cottage an enthusiastic 5 stars. My little girl is a happier girl because of it.
