Comment: My son is 6, and this was #1 on his wish list. It was harder to build than some of his other legos, and it took him longer (which is great to me). Now he plays with it for hours!

Comment: An honest-to-goodness LEGOmaniac, my son was given this set for his eighth birthday. I actually think he has played more with this line (Aquaraiders) than he has with past sets (even Star Wars). This set was a little more challenging and model-like but offers older children with steady hands endless play. Certain pieces detach easily, like the crab claws, which may frustrate younger builders. Older kids will simply re-attach the appendages and play on.
