Comment: Bought this for my two year old. He isn't really ready for the game, but we put 1/3 of the cards out face-down, and he turns them over and makes the matches. Terrific quality, clear and simple pictures, will be better and more useful as he grows. Great item.

Summary: Better than "standard" Memory game
Comment: We have a 2 1/2 year old and 5 1/2 year old and this has become part of our bedtime routine a few times a week (we play as a family on the bedroom floor before books) and the kids really look forward to it. We had the original Memory game and lost it somehow, so I choose this one to replace it and love it even more. The cards are VERY sturdy, the pictures are simple yet colorful, and the colored backgrounds behind each picture make them easier for kids to differentiate. (I think the other one just had a white background for every picture). It's teaching the kids to share, take turns, be patient and all that good stuff, but what I love best is that even my 2 1/2 year old understands it and enjoys playing. It has a lot less cards than the other Memory game, so I was concerned before it arrived that it might not be enough, but it's really the perfect amount. I think my kids love playing this one now because it still feels like a lot of cards but now they dont get frustrated with not being able to find matches because of too many choices (and I dont have to sort through ahead of time and pick out 20 matched sets to make a smaller game!).

Comment: I had the 1971 Milton Bradley edition of "Memory" growing up and wanted to introduced it to my family. But when I couldn't find it among my storage items I looked for an updated version on Amazon.com and found the eeboo products. We got the game in the mail and knew instantly upon handling that the eeboo manufactures its products with great care and high quality. It will last a lifetime and remain a family keepsake.
There are 24 pairs, each with delightful pictures of a car, chocolate cake, rabbit, heart, goldfish, house, and many more. The "tiles" are very durable and thick, making it easy for hands to pick up.
Since buying the game we have bought other eeboo products. This particular game among the other eeboo products, were made in 2005 and are becoming harder to find once they sell out. I would suggest buying them while you have the chance.

Comment: I ordered this game for my 19 months old daughter as I wanted to introduce her to a matching game. We are 'playing' with the cards facing up instead of down. The quality of the game is very good, the pieces are thick enough that she's not bending them and we'll be able to use this game for a long time. The illustrations are simple and clear so she can easily recognize what they are. Great for learning new words.

Comment: My 5 year old loves this game...indeed he beats me everytime too! The cards are beautiful and very thick and durable. Now I know why this cost a bit more--totally worth it!
