Summary: Sushi set is fun!
Comment: I bought 3 of these for nephews & niece that are turning 3 this summer. My niece opened it up right away and began playing. She loved cutting the sushi apart and using the chopsticks. The black "seaweed" also velcros off of the sushi. The ginger is a piece of pink felt. If the kiddos are famaliar with sushi or you have one of those cool sushi books, I know they will like it.

Comment: Oh my goodness, this is the cutest set I've ever seen! The details are amazing and so well made! High quality wood pieces! My son loooves cutting up the sushi and picking them up with the chopsticks. We bought a cute sushi plate to go with it and he loves to put everything on the plate and pretend to serve it to us. This set is AWESOME!!!!!

Comment: my 15mos loves this set. she loves to stick the pieaces together and go at it w/ thegiant cleaver. i also babysit two girls ages 4 and 5 and they also love this set. it is a must buy for your little girl's or boy's kitchen. perfect size for the red retro kitchen by kidkraft.

Summary: Obsessive pretend play
Comment: I bought this sushi play set for my grandson's 2nd birthday and he has been playing with it constantly for a month now. He loves to cut the pieces apart and feed them to all of us. The hook and loop fasteners on the individual pieces are easy to attach and detach; the paint finish is very nice. We took out the fabric nori and ginger until he's older. He also enjoys putting the pieces back into the well-made wooden tray when he's done playing. Highly recommended.

Comment: We bought this for our daughters 2year birthday, and every time she plays with her kitchen, she gets out the sushi and starts "cutting". We LOVE sushi and think this is a great way to introduce her to it so that she may like it too when she is old enough. I love how the chopsticks help grab the pieces and they are beautifully made. It will last a very very long time. I couldn't be happier with it!
