Summary: Great Holiday Activity with your kid!
Comment: Since it has so many small pieces, it requires an eye for detail. Once built, the pieces are fun to play with. The best is Patrick and the boat which has a motor which really makes the boat go fast on a hardwood floor!
It is rated as 7+ but me and my daughter(4) built all the pieces together with her finding & connecting 80% of the pieces. I was teaching her in the beginning - how to follow the pictures in the manual and locate the right piece. After a few steps she was doing the most on her own with me reviewing so that she didnt miss a step.
If you get a good deal on this set and your kid likes Spongebob characters AND you are prepared to get down on your knees for a few hours with your kid :-) , this is a good buy!
I wish it had a few spares for some of the critical parts. (which it doesnt). We used a play-doh mat as our work surface to guard against losing the little pieces. But I am sure over time we will lose a few. It toys like these, I always wish they would include a spare set of wheels, since they are usually the first to break or get lost and then the toy starts to lose its attraction!
To summarize, a good holiday activity tool for at least a few hours. If your kid is younger, you will have to spend some time in at least supervising! Tell them to watch for the really small pieces!

Comment: I love how Patrick's house has a TV. Also there is 2 basketball and a basketball hoop in Spongebob's house. I like Spongebob's launching bed. The most thing I like is that a jellyfish can fit on Squidward's head.

Comment: The product was in good shape. It came quicker than I expected it. My son was very happy when he found out he had gotten it. It was a hard to find item and I was pleased to find it so quickly. I will definately be using Amazon again.

Comment: This product is of course lego, so the quality is there...I was a little surprised by how small some of the pieces actually were...since the age guideline is 7-12...A typical 7 year old would probably need guidance or assistance...Once the finished set was assembled, it was fun and interactive...The boat has one of the "pull back and let go" motors...lots of fun :)

Comment: It's really fun! Coral street is pretty cool, and ever since Sponge Bobs' Pineapple and Squiddwaords Easter Island Head and Patricks Rock came back things have been really fun in Lego City since Coral Street has come back. Also, they have a new neighbor they thought they would never have -- his name, is Annacan Skywalker. Also on coral Street they have a jelly fish launcher, catcher, and net. Annacan Skywalker, Patrick Star, and SpongeBob Squarepants, can go jelly fishing someday. It's great fun!
