Summary: Typical Trivial Pursuit - Fun!
Comment: My friends and I really enjoyed this game. I have to honestly say, I am having a hard time understanding any of the negative reviews from my fellow 80's children (I am 33 years old). You didn't have to be an adult in the 80's to answer any of these questions; while some of them are difficult, they are no harder than ones from any other edition of trivial pursuit. I think many people are disappointed because this is not solely about 80's pop culture, it involves other aspects such as politics/headlines and literature. That being said, reviews are merely a reflection of opinion and the buyer takes a chance when buying any item. You may or may not like it. I enjoyed it and hope you will too.

Comment: Any trivial pursuit players must have this game if you love the 80's! Tons of questions and a whole lot of fun! Makes for a great reunion game or fun flashback to forgotten memories!

Summary: Great fun if you remember those years.
Comment: A real "blast from the past." If you remember pop culture from those years it can be quite an entertaining game. It will be quite lost on the younger generation. I was young in the 80's and struggled with many questions. My wife was much more aware in those years and mopped the floor with the rest of us.

Summary: The blue category ruins the fun
Comment: 2 29 year old 80's fans got the first 5 pieces in the right amount of playing time. There was a good mix of you know it or you don't questions with a some that made ya think and rejog your memory. But we got stuck on the blue piece (headlines). We went back and forth for over an hour until my girlfriend's parents (in their 60's) finally got their blue piece. The game went from fun to agitating.
I know alot about tv/movies/music and of course we got the Bobby Ojeda baseball question correct (most people wouldn't) But 80's politics is not a category a child of the 80s would know. Why would adults want to remember that stuff too?
When I play again, we are going to eliminate that category and make some new rules for the blue spots. Also don't understand why the cards don't fit in the box the long way. Plus there are half the cards of a usual trivial game. Why not make 2 boxes for 2 teams? And why are there only 4 playing pieces? There are also too many olympic, and tennis sports questions...these are not the most memorable sporting events of the decade. Overall, I did enjoy playing but wouldn't pay $70! What? We bought for 10 dollars from another site.
