Summary: Great family fun
Comment: I first played this game years ago. It is still as much fun today as it was then. Essentially a trivia game, the game's Classes and Catagories can be changed to make subjects familiar to younger family members. Or they can adjusted to reflect pop culture trivia items. The rounds are timed and can pass quickly for a fast paced game or slowed down to accomodate younger players. I miss a good many of the 3M Bookshelf games. It was a delight to find FACTS IN FIVE still available. My original game has been well used and has seen better days.

Comment: Our family has played this game for years. When our great-aunt passed away the game was sold as part of her summer cottage property. I was so delighted to discover that it was still available for purchase. We've purchased a new editiona and will be using it at all our family gatherings. The game is clever and requires a quick recall of facts with which we all have come in contact. AND it is fun to bluff your opponents with "made-up" answers for categories in which you are not "expert". I highly recommend this game to all. As I said at the outset, we;ve been playing it for at least four decades.

Summary: It Never Gets Old
Comment: This was one of the games I grew up playing. It never gets old. If you like Scattegories you'll like this. Facts in Five is not only more challenging, it allows players to be more creative with possible answers. Additionally, because of the way the cards are made there are endless "topics" to choose. So the game never gets old, after awhile scattegories makes you feel like you've pretty much seen all the card topics. While this isn't a very well known game it's a very FUN game and a challenging game that I think everyone can enjoy.

Comment: Years ago we loved playing Facts in Five with friends. I'm delighted to have found the game again after all this time! It's just as much fun as ever. I highly recommend this game to adults and older children.

Comment: One of my favorite games from childhood gets a facelift for 2007. A long-awaited improvement and updating of categories. Fun to play for a single round or many. Unlike Trivial Pursuit or similar games, the questions never "run out."
