Comment: I know the mission/level designer for this game quite well. He taught me all I know about Game Production. Once he told me he had 2 game of the year awards under his belt, I immediately bought Tie Fighter. This game was WAY ahead of its time.
If you get this you should also get a joystick controller.

Comment: This game is simply the best space fighter sim I've ever played, even against alot of today's stuff. The story and flight model are just excellent, coupled with John Williams music and awesome sound effects, makes for an extremely good experience.
