Comment: This dvd is fun!!! I bought one and haven't been able to stop and now have pretty much half of all the dvd's.

Comment: Oh man, my family loves loves loves loves LOVES this game!!! We're upset b/c we aren't able to find anything past Shout About Movies #4... and we're desperate for more!!!

We play this game with my entire family (about 20 of us in all, all crowded in one room around the TV, split into girls versus guys). The players range in age from 12 to 70 and we ALL have a blast. Mind you, we are LOUD people and this game totally gives us a chance to scream our silly heads off trying to win.

They give you clues, either screen shots, piecing together important words from the movies, etc etc and you SHOUT out what you think the movie name is... whatever teams gets it first, gets a point for that section and so forth.

I agree with the other reviewer that $20 for only three games (and yes, you can ONLY play three games on it, hence why we're looking for games about #4!!!!) but you can find deals on them for $10... $10 for a night of CRAZY fun is totally worth it!!! That's the cost of a single ticket to the movies, right?!? And each game lasts a good amount of time... if you even have a voice LEFT to play another one! We never play more than two games in one night, b/c we just get so tired out from all the craziness.

Anyhow... can you tell I love this game? We scoured the city two days before thanksgiving this year b/c EVERYONE was saying, "Hey, who's got the latest version of Shout? no one? Uhhhh what are we gonna do after dinner, guys???" We have played "SHout about Music" but it really wasn't that good. However, the Shout about TV series was just as good as the "Moves" series.

HIGHLY recommended!!!!

Comment: This game is definitely a lot of fun--especially if you and your friends are knowledgable about movies. No need to keep score--the game provides opportunity for scorekeeping via remote control. However, as others have mentioned, it is kind of sad that you basically get to play each disc (three games of eight rounds per disc) only one time. My sister in law did say that they put their game away and brought it back out a year later, and felt that it was like a new game sice they had forgotten the details of all the questions.

All in all, I'm pleased!

Summary: Fun for my family!
Comment: My family and I tried this game one afternoon, and loved it. We had 4 people in the 20-40 range and also someone in their 60's and someone of age 8, and we all had a blast. The different types of games from naming the movie that a quote belongs to, placing a scene from a movie, remembering the name of a movie from 6 words/phrases from the movie, etc. My family loved it so much, we actually bought the entire 8 game collection.

It is a one-time play for the 3 games that are on it, so that is one drawback. But there is a re-sale market on auction sites for when you are done.

Summary: For the Whole Family
Comment: My family and I LOVE this game! I broke out this game one night to play with my sisters who are huge movie buffs. We had a BLAST! By the next day we were up to game 3 and included 4 more family members including my 8 year old son and my mom. This is truly a family game. There is no learning curve - just put the DVD in the player and start. The game keeps track of the score (you enter it after each round) so you can just play.
Others have mentioned the downside - you can only play the games once. I am not sure how you can get around this with this medium. I suggest selling (or buying) this game at eBay to get the most of your money. Great fun!
