Comment: Charger design is very neat and easy to use. Like the way the power pins on the back fold flat for storage / transportation. Good for top up of partially depleted batteries. Just leave the door open when charging to prevent overheating batteries which is alleged to shorten their life.

Comment: I recently purchased a Canon a720is digital camera. I also purchased the Sony Quick Battery Charger with 4 batteries and purchased an additional 4 batteries based on the good reviews. This was at the end of November. The batteries are terrible. Supposedly with a full charge, they last about 10 minutes in my camera. What a waste of money!

Summary: Works well in Caribbean countries
Comment: I bought this battery charger for the flash on my scuba diving camera. I have used this charger in roughly 6 different Caribbean countries over the past 3 years and haven't had a problem yet. During the charge process the batteries do become a bit hot, but most battery chargers have this affect on rechargeables. I quite enjoy the slim nature of the charger too, as it fits nicely in my camera bag. There is no extra cords or adapters to worry about. I usually charge the batteries overnight, and the charger turns itself off when it has completed the charge. I would definitely recommend this product.
