Summary: N64 scratched up worn out controller
Comment: When I ordered my N64 it was listed as newly refurbished in excellent condition with 1 Controller and 1 Game. When I finally got home I opened the box to find a faded scratched up N64 with the original out dated jumper pack and a dirty completely worn out Controller with the Analog Stick nearly fallen off. I also got the game without the manual in Excellent condition otherwise, but it was a title nobody has ever heard of. I installed the unit to my TV and it turned on with visable shaking screen, but I was put off by the poor condition of the product and have decided not to use it in my living room. I got what I paid for, but the item was NOT in excellent condition.

Comment: If you like to play "old games", then you need this system. Has some of the best games ever created on it. If you think that you won't have fun with such an old consol, think again. I have one right next to my Xbox 360 and I play it just as much.

I bought my 64 for 20 dollars from a garage sale at my apartment building and paid another 25 dollars for 5 games... My actual opinion is, who needs cds when you can have advanced cartridges...the games are easy to load and fast and the nintendo 64 is loaded with accessories all of which are coming my way soon including a better rca plug cable adapter, rumble pack
and ram booster, i already own a memory card that was given to me for free and resident evil 2 they threw in...the graphics are oustanding even without a ram booster at this point i am impressed...although not up to todays standards who really cares when your deep in a game...the sound is great and the effects work i think games sound cartridges sound different than cds...i would recommend purchasing one to anyone who will take care of this gaming antique and is looking for a wide selection of great games...i havent played them all but have encountered roms and emulators for it which one can use to test the system out, but please dont just rip off the company...anyway the 64 is worth it and nintendo did an oustanding job...btw you can play computer ports to the system of games like doom and quake , hexen and duke nukem...not too mention arcade ports....cya next year nintendo!
