Comment: my 20 months old finally discovered his duplo building blocks after we got him this building plate.

Comment: This an expensive piece of thin molded green plastic! It does however, make building structures with Duplo blocks much easier. My son currently has a farm built on his and with out the building plate it was very hard to keep the blocks from falling apart.
On its own the building plate is pretty worthless, but if you are going to shell out the money for a fancy Duplo Zoo, Fire, or Farm set I would recommend it.
