Summary: GREAT, simple toy!
Comment: I purchased this pegboard for my 2-year old son for Christmas, and honestly, I can't say enough good things about it. He LOVES it and plays with it EVERY DAY! My older son (age 9) also plays with it, and other children who have been over our house have enjoyed it as well. It's a very simple toy but you can do a lot with it -- sort by color, stack a really high tower, make small towers, etc. I would highly recommend this toy.

Summary: Room for creativity
Comment: Well my son will be 2 in a few days. I got this when he was about 22 months old. He has found alot of ways to use this WITHOUT the board. He stacks them together to see how much he can stack, he rolls them, and he throws them. No problem with me. At his age, he still has alot of experimenting and exploring to do. I point out the colors of the pegs to him also. So this item could be used in many ways. My 7 year old daughter now, she actually uses the board. She made a table, and she made a few letters. The peg board comes with an activity sheet with different things you can do with your kids like sorting, color recognition, patterning, counting, addtion/subtraction, memory games, and making your own designs. I'd say its a pretty good investment.

Comment: I bought this toy a year ago & my now [...] has played with it almost every day! I have seen his play progress from just stacking them, to sorting by color, to stacking as high as he could, to making unique patterns, it is really quite amazing to watch. His other favorite toys are duplo blocks, wooden blocks, puzzles and another great toy called Magtastik.

Summary: Easy to make tall towers
Comment: Which is the most interesting thing about this set right now for our 2 year old. He appreciates the patterns mom and dad make but for him, it is all about how tall he can stack the pegs. And they go pretty high without falling over, so he loves it and is content to play with it for surprisingly long periods of time. Also the pegs are easy for little fingers to manipulate which is a big plus.

I look forward to his noticing and building patterns as he gets older.

Some other reviewers complained about the set being wobbly but we haven't had that problem.

Comment: my 2 year old daughter loves it every time she plays with it. she tries to stack them up one by one and make the tallest tower! she still does not know the concept of separating the colors in rows or single colored columns, but it is a great beginning tool for going to nursery!
