Summary: Good idea, great for younger kids
Comment: My 2 and a half year old really enjoyed this. It was fun to dress the doll up and prepare her for whatever weather we set. It might have been fun to have a second dress-up doll so that the two could "talk to one another", but, it was fun none-the-less. Great because the pieces are larger than other colorform pieces and it is educational - teaching about the seasons and appropriate clothing.

Comment: I'm so disapointed in this set. The pieces, once removed from the white page, don't stick on the picture, nor do they stick back on the white sheet. My 3 yr old granddaughter enjoyed it for awhile, but soon lost interest when she couldn't get the clothing to stay on the picture.

Comment: One of the things I cover with my children for homeschooling preK is health. One of the topics is taking care of yourself and within that topic, I talk to my girls about what clothes are appropriate given the weather.

My older daughter is in kindergarten so she has lots of things to do. My 3 year old doesn't have many things that are "hers" to do. So, I bought this set used. It is one of her tasks to dress Miss Weather every day in the appropriate clothes. More often than not, she plays with all the few pieces and then when her attention is waning, I ask her to put the right clothes on her for the day. She enjoys having something that is "hers" to do.

I don't stand the board up, so I haven't had any issues with the pieces not sticking and they are far more durable than paper dolls would be.

I recommend this set for 3-4 year olds. I think it would be too young for children older than that.

Comment: I always loved colorforms growing up and wanted to share this with my grandkids.Both of my granddaughters ,ages 2 and 7 , were clamoring to play with this toy.It would be great in the car,as well.

Comment: Hey there,

The stick was good, but the toy was a bit limited. Maybe if it had just a little more options for clothing. She only had one pair of pants for example hahahahah...ohhh it was cute, but it was fun for daughter, on the long trip we took (broke out a new surprise every 2.5 to 3 hours after a potty break), for about 20 minutes or so.

Wished it had been a little more of a hit.
