Summary: Very Educational
Comment: These flashcards have been a life saver. My little one got them around 1 years old and a year later still loves them. They have instructions for added value as your child ages. You can start with identifying the objects, then add more challenges like asking which fly or which go on the water. We spread them out on the floor and he picks out the right cards. He thinks it's a game, and I feel like he's learning -- so a total WIN/WIN.

Comment: I bought these for my son when he was just 12 months and he absolutely loved them. These sturdy, textured cards come in an easy-to-open box with a velcro closing. My son can name all of the pictures: "Helicopter" and "Fire engine," and also transfers these names to the actual objects or toys. These cards are easy to take along in the car or on trips. We just ordered two more boxes - shapes & colors and numbers.
Ps. I find the photos of much higher quality (photos, colors and texturing) than those made by Baby Einstein.

Comment: These cards are nice, but our son never really took much of an interest in them. I would say that they are educational, sturdy and worth the money if your kid is into this sort of thing...our guy would prefer a truck to these any day.

Summary: We LOVE these cards!!
Comment: These cards are great. I bought them when my son was about 17 months old, and he loves them. Now that he is 21 months old, he pulls them out of the box and "tells" me what is on the card. I think they have been instrumental in his language development. He can identify (and say clearly) car, boat, bike, and bus. We have three other sets and they are all great. He has bent several of his favorite cards in half, which is surprising because they are quite rigid, but I have been able to stabilize them with tape.

Comment: These flashcards by DK are great. They are far superior to other flashcards on the market - they are very sturdy, the touch n' feel aspect adds a lot of fun to them and the box is also sturdy. No worries about someone stepping on it and destroying it. I also thought I'd never get flashcards for a one year old, but my son loved these from the minute he got them. We spread them on the floor and he'll pick out the card I call for and is so proud of himself. Now that he's older, he'll name them himself and put them in the box one by one. He had always loved the DK books, so seeing the familiar photos on something he could carry around easily really made him happy. We have four sets of these and love them all.
