Comment: This book is quite complete and very helpful in addressing all the problems of building from the ground up. The diagrams are particularly helpful since the conventional "plan and elevation" drawings many times do not convey the total intent quickly and accurately. This book achieves that perfectly. A section on swimming pools, spas and decks would be a welcome addition.

Comment: Hi,
I have a previous edition (2nd edition year 1990) so I decide to buy this new edition (4th edition). I've found some new items, I'm so glado for that, but in others few items the previous version is better. I have both books so I can enjoy the benefits of each one. It is highly recommended, even for professionals like me in South America
