Summary: Good Bags, Good Price!
Comment: With three dogs, daily walks and responsible dog ownership, it's amazing how many dog poop bags I go though a year! These are the ones I usually buy at a national chain pet store, but I noted that they were a few dollars cheaper here on Amazon per pack (which over a year, can add up to a reasonable savings).

These bags are durable, semi-see-through (which is good for insuring you don't touch poop during tie-up!), and they have a small printed white block on the open-end so you know which side to peel open. They are wrapped around a black, hollow, hard plastic tube (which means you could tie a cord though it to attach it to something). These work well with both side-opening and top-opening dispensers (though I no longer use a dispenser... I just stick the roll in my pocket or waist pack).

If you have a Amazon Prime membership, then buying these are a no-brainer since shipping is already paid for. If not, I guess you should do the math on your shipping situation to see if it makes financial sense to order these here. Either way, these bags work great.

Comment: We have these bags attached to the leash, and it's great not having to worry about grabbing a bag before a walk. They are also biodegradable. They are several dollars cheaper on Amazon than at the pet stores.

Comment: I was using plastic grocery bags for picking up our dog's droppings, but they are too big and paper towels alone are not the answer for us either. When someone told me about these biodegradable bags, I rushed out to find some but the store was out-of-stock. Did a search on Amazon and ordered them with other purchases and like them very much. Since then, I have found them at several of the big box stores in the Pet Department and at a couple of our local grocery stores. I also purchased the dispenser (very sturdy and does what it says it does) for times when someone else may have to walk our dog.

Comment: Bags on Board Biodegradable Bags are made very well. They are long enough and thick enough to do the job without ripping or puncturing easily. The price of $6.71 for a refill pack of 120 bags was excellent & made even better by the buy 3 get 1 free promotion which actually brought the price down even further to $5.03 per refill pack of 120 bags. I once ordered a different brand of bags b/c the price was lower but bags were super thin and punctured easily. That's not ideal when the purpose the bag is being used for is to pick up animal feces. It was worth it to pay just a little bit more and get the Bags on Board brand product.
My order was fulfilled & shipped the very same day I placed it online and arrived at my home 2 days later. Overall, the price was the best I found online for this particular brand of bags and quantity and having them delivered to my home made it even better. I've never seen these bags available at Petco/Petsmart or any other physical pet store for such a great price and the fact that I did not have to physically go out to pet stores, searching for the best deal makes paying shipping & handling worth the extra money.

Comment: With a big dog (greyhound) and usually with a foster dog in tow, it was difficult finding good sized bags that are affordable and biodegradable. These hit the mark. I've gone through countless bags and had just one leak. They also fit within most holders that you can buy, making them very convenient.
