Summary: Great educational toy!
Comment: I bought this toy for my 10mth old so that she could stop banging on my laptop(she didn't stop). When we used the toy with her, we went through the letters, numbers, colors, shapes and the cards. She bangs on it sometimes but i think she will become more interested in it as she gets older and it will prove to be very useful to her educationally.

Summary: Good for kids 4-6
Comment: Bought this for my not quite 3 year old. Definitey too hard for her at this point. I think it's more for a 4 year old and up. She knows her letters and shapes, but does not read, and that would be helpful to know how to do when using this computer. It's hard for her to follow the verbal instructions as well.
My 4 year old who does read loves it and easily uses the activity cards. It comes with 10 two-sided cards, so there are plenty of scenarios for him to do. The activity cards are thick laminated cardstock, and have been bent a little with play, but still insert into the computer just fine. The computer has been dropped, stepped on, etc. and still works fine as well.
It's very educational. I think it helps in 'reinforcing' simple knowledge of shapes, colors, letters and letter sounds, words. If your young child already knows these things, then it can be very fun for her to use this. If your child is just learning these things, then she would probably need someone with her to help her do the activities.
Also, there are no moving parts/pictures. Just sounds. So I imagine it might be a boring toy for anyone over age 6.

Summary: very nice for toddlers
Comment: Its a very good toy for kids of age 2 yrs or more. I liked it so much due to its various educational approach for kids. It has 15 different picture cards, with words. The kids love to play this as well as learn not only alphabets and numbers but also simple words and understand it looking to its pictures. I bought it two times as the gifts. And I am going to buy this again also. It can be a very nice gift for kids.

Summary: Can you spell "Annoy?"
Comment: I read the good reviews and decided to get for my 2 yr old daughter and 4 yr. old son. This game has some drawbacks...
- The keyboard is not a standard "qwerty" design, which does nothing to help familiarize a child with a computer keyboard.
- Pooh's sleepy drawl can be difficult to understand, especially when asking a preschooler to spell something.
- When quizzing a child on spelling, there is not much time for a child to respond. If he makes a mistake or takes long with one letter, it starts over. My son found that really frustrating.
- To play, the user must insert a card into the top part of the computer "screen"-- these cards get destroyed by overanxious preschoolers.
- The buttons are confusing. Some have combinations of letters and arrows, there are other buttons for colors, others for shapes. Sometimes it takes a while for my son to find the right button, and by then, Pooh has usually told him he is wrong.
All in all, this game is cute, but definitely not one of the educational toys our children crave.
