Summary: Great toy!
Comment: I love this toy. Unlike a lot of other newer toys, this toy has just the right amount of "educational input". It doesn't overwhelm by trying to teach the world to a child in one toy. The shape sorter has three settings: shapes, music, off. That's it. When set to "shapes", the toy tells you which shape was just slipped through a hole and every now and then it'll sing a cute little shape song. The words are also very clear, too. Plus, the toy has the ever-exciting lid, that my daughter just loves to remove and replace to put stuff on and dump back out. Overall, this is a wonderful toy. :)

Comment: This is a good learning toy for babies and toddlers. My 8 month old has taken much interest in the toy. The only annoyances are that one of the holes for the shapes is slightly too small, requiring a bit of effort to shove the shape inside, and the motion sensor from the top of the cookie jar constantly being triggered can be a little annoying. Other than that, the idea behind the shape designs identified by numbers with matching sides to the number make it a nifty and interesting toy for babies and toddler to learn with.

Comment: My kids both like this toy putting the shapes in and out of the top but I have the same problem as the other reviewer,,,the shapes on mine are WAY too tight to fit thru the shaped holes easily. It is hard for me to do and unless they are lined up exactly it will not work at all. Impossible for any toddler to do. Maybe this issue is not on all of them as other people do not seem to have the problem but overall I am VERY disappointed and will probably be donating this toy to good will next time I go! Fisher Price usually makes good toys but this one in my opinion is not.

Comment: My son is 17 months old and is very much enjoying this toy. Durable but a little on the heavy side...he likes to carry his toys around from room to room. Laughs and dances when the music goes on. He is just getting the hang of putting the shapes in the slots.

Summary: GREAT TOY! SUPER SHAPE SORTER
Comment: I almost didn't buy this because of the review that stated it was hard to get the shapes in. But, I really wanted to have a shape sorter from the Laugh and Learn line, so I tried it.

This toy is great! Has darling songs, and my 1 yr old son has learned to get the shapes in the right spots without any problems, and the shapes go in easy and without any of the problems the other reviewer had.

One of the best features is the cookie jar lid. It helps keep the pieces inside, perfect for easy clean up! This has been one of my sons favorite toys this year!!
