Summary: Healing words for a playful spirit.
Comment: This is an excellent set of magnetic poetry words. If you are looking for a set of poetry words that allow you and other folks who use the set to express thoughts about healing and spirituality this is a very good choice. While there are not words that are generally associated with religion here, especially when combined with the art words set, there are a broad range of thoughts about creativity, growth, hope, journeying, struggling and experiencing joy that are possible to express.

Comment: Overall I am pleased. Some minor issues: for some reason the magnetic polarity in some words are opposite, so that they repel other words (especially those from other kits). And not enough connecting words to make this a good "stand alone" set. You'll need the basic set too.

Comment: In 2008, I've become a huge fan of Magnetic Poetry and all the flexible language exercises and fun games that springs from it. Who knew that playing with words would be so relaxing, therapeutic, and enjoyable? I find myself searching for the next best word kit to add to my collection. The more unusual the theme the better! I suppose I've become a word theme collector! LOL :)

This "Healing Words" product inspires me to focus on healthy ideas, positive thinking, comfort, joy, and personal wellness. It's perfect for having an "internal" dialogue with yourself or for leaving encouraging messages for a loved one to find (say on the refrigerator or other steel surface). I enjoy using this kit with the "Haiku" word kit tiles because the natural, peaceful themes are compatible.

More enjoyment can happen when family members or friends or party guests join you in creating magnetic poetry, and / or you add words from other, "unrelated" word packs--such as putting this kit with the "Office Poetry" one or the "College" one! This particular version of Magnetic Poetry makes a great little "thinking of you" gift for someone who needs some cheering up, some encouragement, some soul-hugging comfort. Using this kit with the kit that comes with the stand allows for more expression, creativity, and interaction. A "steel" lined journal can be purchased for Magnetic Poetry's website, and I imagine that it also would be a helpful product for users who were confined to beds or chairs. The journal would be something that they could hold and work with in such situations.
