Comment: This kit sucks. It's filled with a whole lot of stuff that is NOT USED in any of the experiments. And most of the experiments require you to compile a lot of equipment that IS NOT SUPPLIED in the kit. Plus, the experiments are mostly uninteresting. You're better off downloading your own experiments from the internet or buying a book than this kit.

Comment: I bought this for my 7 year old daughter last christmas. She never seemed interested in science before and I thought this might help. Well, I was head on and then some. She loves this. There are so many things she wants to try from it and she is learning so much from it. They give the science behind the experiments and guide you through with all the steps. Her older brother seems interested in it too, so they do the experiments together. I want to buy more of these now for my nieces. Great buy for the kids!!

ScienceWiz Chemistry Experiment Kit was a fun time that my 10 year old son and I had together. We both learned, we said "Wow", we had fun. My son had a great time showing his brothers and his friends the experiments that we did. He felt smart and showed a lot of excitement.
I would highly recommend the kit. It's a nice time to get to talk to one another and get away from the TV and video games.

But 'Inside the Book' on the inside of the front cover is a list of stuff that needs to be bought from the store if you want to do all the experiments.
Examples: Cooking oil for a "mixing oil and water?" experiment ( pgs 16 & 17 )
floating with density experiment (pgs. 18 & 19) eggs, and salt... and many others.
When a manufacturer claims -ALL- materials are included, They should provide all materials. There is a half page long SHOPPING LIST of additional materails you will need to buy or find from around the house.
