Comment: I teach 8th grade science and my kids complete an "Adopt-an-Element" project every year. The Periodic Table Playing Cards are a fun way to assign kids their elements. It allows me to assign them randomly (kids pick a card from a hat) and they are able to learn things about the element they will be researching right away. They especially like the "uses" section on each card which lists a couple of common uses of the element.

Comment: The periodic table playing cards are an amazingly fun way of learning about the properties of the different elements. The cards themselves are very high quality and come in a case that keeps them in good shape for a long time. You get two decks of course due to the size of the table. If you have a highschooler who loves chemistry or perhaps is struggling it in, or if your a science major like myself in college and just want to be nerdy, these are an excellent way to accomplish that.
