Comment: I purchased the book because I noticed my grandson's fascination with rock chrystals. He is seven years old, attending first grade, learning to read. On a day when he was visiting, I gave the book to him. He could not put the book down. He carefully sounded out words, checked to see if he had the chrystal described and then placed the included sticker properly by the description. The book covers the first basics of field identification: see, identify, record. The book is very small, it has quality paper, and it is colorful.
